Seventeen years ago this fall, I discovered Energy Therapy through a client I had at the time. He came for an appointment and told me he was going away for a weekend for "Rapid Eye something". The more he talked about it, the more strongly I felt urged that this was something new that I needed to learn more about. Shortly after that, I found Rapid Eye Technology, and felt immediately the confirmation that this resource was something I had been looking for, for some time.

Why would I, a conventionally trained Marriage and Family Therapist, feel prompted and drawn to expand beyond the mainstream model of therapy? What was missing in the forward-thinking, newer mainstream approach I was using? Why was I frankly bored and burned out from working in that approach, and why had I lost the joy and passion for my work, that I felt when I began my training?

And most importantly, what was it that my clients even then, were more deeply hungering for? And how could I help them fulfill their deepest Desires ?

Searching for the answers to these questions, resolving and healing the aridity of Soul I felt professionally then, were what prompted me to cross the thresh-hold of my own Heroine's Journey into Energy Therapy.

When I did, I knew I was on the path home.

I wrote this article shortly after I had been credentialed as a Master Practitioner of Rapid Eye Technology. I still feel today, the same excitement, enthusiasm and passion for Rapid Eye and Energy Therapy, that I felt then. I love what I do, because I feel so passionately that deep healing, transformation and Soul growth are such fundamental birthrights and purposes for this life, and that is exactly what Energy Therapy opens for clients. This is exactly what the Soul hunger is that women crave, now more than ever:

To thrive and flourish, and live with soul-satisfying joy and love everyday. To fulfill our greatest potential. and DO the work we promised we would do in this life, that our hearts hunger for, and our Souls won't let us forget. Becoming the Heroines we are born to be.

Getting to the point of living your life this way, is the Heroine's Journey. Energy Therapy is a really crucial piece of the "how" that I was guided to, to facilitate it. Learning how to facilitate this level and degree of healing, growth and transformation was a Soul hunger I could not ignore, shut down or forget. It drove me for years. I was obsessed in my search, until I found and mastered the Energy Therapy resources that I now use.

And it all began with discovering Rapid Eye Technology. So you could say that this article is my origin story. I feel so much gratitude every day that I am called and privileged to be part of this.
